Mark established Ascot Wealth Management in 2010 following a career in investment banking, mainly, lending, collatoral analysis and trading. Under Mark’s leadership, the firm has grown quickly into a respected advice practice, with it’s main services being Financial Advice, Wealth Management and Estate & Tax Planning. Mark is a strong believer of using technology in finance, to enable clients to monitor their investments wherever they are. Mark is among the small percentage of young IFAs in the otherwise largely grey industry of financial advisers in the UK. He has helped bring in a change in the way the industry works.
Catriona joined the firm in 2015 and has since become a fully qualified financial adviser. Prior to joining AWM Catriona spent a year in private equity research and graduated from The University of Bath. Catriona works with a broad spectrum of client inquiries, ranging from overall financial planning, retirement planning and tax planning.
Claire joined Ascot Wealth Management in 2014 on a placement year whilst studying for her Batchelors Degree in Finance & Business. Since returning to Ascot Wealth Management after her studies, Claire has successfully completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is a now operating as a fully qualified financial adviser. Claire works with a wide range of clients and family offices using her experience and expertise in the industry to create bespoke solutions for each circumstance.
Matt has been with Ascot Wealth Management since 2016, joining the firm as a placement student. Matt successfully studied and passed the full Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning during his placement year, making him one of the youngest to complete the qualification. Upon returning to The University of Reading, Matt completed his degree and then returned to Ascot Wealth Management as a Graduate Wealth Manager. After completing the competency programme early in 2019, Matt is now operating as a independent qualified financial adviser within the firm. Matt has additional qualifications in mortgage advice, discretionary investment management and securities advice. Matt works with a wide range of clients with varying needs, this involves providing advice in a range of areas including financial planning, tax planning and investment management.
Ian joined Ascot Wealth Management in January 2017. Prior to joining AWM, he completed his undergrad in economics and postgrad in entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town. Ian successfully passed the CeMAP qualification early in his career, allowing him to provide mortgage advice to all current and prospective clients. Ian has now also completed his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning at the end of 2019 and currently heads up the mortgage department for AWM. Ian also contributes to Consulo Wealth Solutions, an Appointed Representative of Ascot Wealth Management.
